Congrats to our Maverick of the Month: Sally Sweeney! Who better to close out Maverick’s anniversary month (#sixyears) than our very own Sr. IT Recruiting Manager; Sally Sweeney!
Sally celebrated her second-year anniversary with Team Maverick in April. That’s right; Sally started a new job at the onslaught of the Covid-19 shutdown! April 6 was her start date and she remembers meeting the team via our very first zoom call. Maverick already hosted a fully remote work model, with everyone local to Boston. We were lucky to have bi-weekly in-person meetings at a shared office space in Quincy, MA. Sally, who resided in Sarasota, Florida, was our first non-New England resident teammate. We like to say Sally brought the sunshine!
Although it was a challenging time, welcoming Sally to the team and having her enthusiasm, interest, and quest for learning about Maverick customer and consultant networks, active processes, and individual team member roles united us instantly. Sally’s smooth transition during a time of many “unknowns” exemplifies her ability to not only take challenges head-on but to see them through! She is an extreme team player, always offering her hand where needed and often coming up with new and efficient ways to streamline companywide processes. She’s especially advanced in technical integrations and helping to have our multiple applications sync up. We would not be Team Maverick without her!~ ~ ~

Sally has made some of her best friends at the gym and finds that exercise, health and wellness allow her balance and connection with amazing people at the same time.
